Task Description
I'm starting an online magazine called LSM which allows people to shop for products featured by simply clicking on them. This magazine is targeted at teenage girls and hip twenty-something women.

Basically, it's a pretty online magazine with a twist - each post may have a bunch of products at the end of it that directs the user to the online shop which it is sold at.

For example, if I write an article about Back To School fashion, at the end of the post there will be a few recommended items (cute dresses, stationary etc) for the readers which they can click on. I'll try to illustrate my idea using visual examples.

Menu:
Front Page / Shop / Editor's Letter / Contribute / Our Story

What I Need:
- a front page with a pretty menu, slideshow, newsletter sign up, categories, posts and other features

- the shop page looks like the front page but has different slideshows, categories and posts

- posts should allow me to add slideshows, videos and recommended items at the end of the post

- editor's letter just links to the editor's letter post
- contribute should have form where people can send in stories or upload pictures

To illustrate,
- Example of the website layout drawn by me: http://imgur.com/a/JpZRl

This is a rough sketch I did on whim. I am not a designer and if you can simplify it or make it better, feel free to do so. (Feel free to make the sidebar smaller and neater.I'll probably need a small sidebar so I can place my recommended products in longer rows.)

- I love the style of this website (even though it's not a magazine): http://blog.nastygal.com/

It is sleek, easy to navigate, and has soft feminine colors. I like how uncluttered it is and hope that individual my post pages can look similar.

- Another simple website:

http://fashionista.com/

- Post with slideshow Example 1: http://blog.nastygal.com/features-and-shoots/lookbooks/2012/06/endless-summer/

Example 2: http://blog.nastygal.com/features-and-shoots/lookbooks/2012/06/heat-wave/

- Post with recommended/featured item at the bottom: http://blog.nastygal.com/features-and-shoots/newsflash/2012/08/into-the-blue/

Note: It should not only shows the picture of the item, but also the name, price and brand.

Lastly:

I will probably need you to help me install/set up the website as I am new to this.

This is my current logo (without the LSM text): http://imgur.com/qt3kX

As you can see, it is quite whimsical, playful and fun which is the overall vibe I hope to achieve.
