Task Description
Kowalski Consulting is a Swiss consulting company specializing in
mobile application development mainly on Apple iOS platform for
iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. We provide a broad range of skills
and experience in iOS development and in integrating mobile
applications with existing or new back-end services.
In addition to the development of *custom iOS applications* or
*connected apps* as we call them, we provide consulting and
development of server side services in three main areas:
1) Scala, Akka and Play, so called Typesafe Stack (http://typesafe.com/stack)
2) Ruby on Rails
3) Solaris technologies: ZFS, DTrace and Zones as found in SmartOS
(http://smartos.org/), Illumos (https://www.illumos.org/),
OpenIndiana (http://openindiana.org/)
In our web design, we would like to emphasize our offer to build
mobile apps especially for iOS with expertise in integration and
modern distributed computing. The design should convey an
impression of an expert development team, confident to tackle any
design and development challenge. We want to attract customers
who are looking for an agile development of a custom (enterprise
or commercial) application and which potentially face a need to
integrate with an existing back end service or develop such a
service from scratch.
Our initial idea for a page looks like this:
- Appealing picture with a slogan or a tag line, i.e. something
that shows we can develop the mobile application and integrate
with back end services well.
- Who we are - two photos of us with links to github and google+
with very short bio and background information. We would like
to present a very friendly and human face of the company which
immediately feels comfortable and inviting.
- What we did - Our application and client portfolio, e.g. a short
iPhone app presentation, an architecture diagram etc.
- Contact info - Google Map + address + phone number + email

- 1. Include prominent display of our logo and name (corporate identity)
2. Single page design with navigation to the sections
3. The design should be cool, clean and modern
Should Not Have:
- 1. No faked people (models) or landscapes.
2. No overloaded or clumsy design (more Zen less baroque)
