Task Description
Hi! I'm seeking a logo for an established wedding photography business in Toronto called 'Silverlight Photography'. The photography style is broadly described as fresh, editorial/lifestyle mixing candids and classic portraiture. Please have a look at the website to get a sense of what I do: www.silverlightphotography.ca
For the logo I'm thinking of a modern look, but still personable and approachable (this is a very one-on-one, emotional, intimate business and people want to feel a friendly connection with us.) Open to 'quirky' fun ideas too and maybe a bit of a vintage feel (yeah, I know I said modern, but maybe 'modern vintage?!'.)
I tend to like sans fonts, and 'fresh' colours: light blues, greens, oranges. I would like to have a graphic element of some sort in addition to the text.
I'm also uploading some logos that I like the feel of...these are quick grabs and just to give you some broad ideas.
I've uploaded a couple of my photos that have been 'signature' images for the past few years - images that always seem to resonate with my clients. I thought these might be helpful in some way....as general inspiration, as an idea for the 'feel' of my work and hence the logo, or perhaps as inspiration for a graphic element incorporated in the logo?
Please note, I am *not* interested in having the images used as actual photos in the the design. If there is going to be balloons, or a spinning couple, they would have to be rendered as a graphic/illustration of some sort. Also, if you are trying something with the balloon idea, it would have to be quite subtle, graceful, elegant, as I'm very aware of other associations with balloons (birthday partys, clowns, carnivals, etc) that I don't want people to make (esp. the clowns!) So probably vey stylized, muted colours or grayscale, etc
I've tried to provide some guidance through the brief, but I'm completely open to your suggestions, so feel free to break any of the guidelines I've provided! (if I knew what I was doing, I'd have done it already!)

Requirements
Should Not Have:
- - Typical photo icons/elements: camera, film borders, aperture blades, etc
These are thing I'd rather avoid as I feel they are very overused in my market. However, if you have a good idea that involves one of them, please go ahead, you're the experts!
Not big on Damask either....I like it, but again, overused!
