Task Description
We need a new logo design for our Custom Software company.
The name of our company is 'Efficient Business'.
Our mission is "to create unique software applications" that can "dramatically enhance the efficiency" of a business.
We want to appear 'approachable and friendly' but still professional. Not too expensive, not too geeky and robotic, not too 'techy' but also we work with businesses so it can't be too 'bubbly'.
Our customers will mainly see the logo on our new website (which needs to be redesigned along with everything else) and also on our business cards and stationery etc. We do not have any signage.
We really like gray backgrounds and shading for websites and lots of white space so the new logo will not work if it only has impact when against really dark backgrounds.
We are looking for a really clean, modern, web 2.0 design in the logo. We are very particular about typeface and colors (please see the uploaded examples).
Even if you have submitted a design before, please feel free to submit a new one as nothing we have seen so far is exactly what we are after.
One other thing, we are not sure if we should go for green and blue or red and blue, so please if possible submit two color options for us.

I just changed the brief for this project and also uploaded some support documents that give more idea of the styles we like.
Please feel free to submit new designs or change the colors or fonts in your existing designs.

Just to let you know that we have now narrowed the selections down to 4 designs that we feel are the closest to the logo we are after. We have not made a decision which would be the best for us as yet, but if you are considering submitting a new design please review the shortlist if possible to see if there is an improvement that you could make.
