Task Description
I am a community manager for a financial services startup Betterment.com.
This is a personal project. I blog about life and loves in New York and am stuck at crossroads: I want to keep my tumblr blog (johannascott.tumblr.com) but the platform is not right for my writing. I want to create a new blog called "collector." which is primarily a writing blog accompanied by beautiful photography. Every time I explore alternative options - wordpress.com, blogger, squarespace - I am limited by their themes and my inability to design and code.
I like minimal, punchy design (I'm thinking black and white but I'm open to color) that won't distract with hokey gimmicks but showcases the latest content and is a pleasure to the eye.
